Join us for a day of celebration and community, featuring both a 5K and a 1-mile run/walk, suitable for all fitness levels. To make it accessible for everyone, we're offering a presale price of just $10, with limited spots available—so register early! All ages are welcome!
Adidas will be on-site with a shoe demo experience, plus we'll have t-shirt giveaways, prizes, and more. We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in our journey! The City and County of San Francisco, under the leadership of Mayor Daniel Lurie, has officially recognized The City Eats with a proclamation honoring 13 years of impactful service to our community.
Key Highlights from the Proclamation:
- Recognition of Service: The City Eats has been a beacon of compassion and unity, uniting our neighborhoods and empowering the youth through various enrichment programs.
- Support for the Vulnerable: Our ongoing commitment to support San Francisco's most vulnerable populations is acknowledged, ensuring that unhoused and low-income individuals are treated with dignity and respect, and provided with nourishing meals.
- Grassroots Change: The proclamation emphasizes our role in inspiring volunteers and uplifting communities, showcasing how change begins at the grassroots level and grows through unity.
Today, as we celebrate this recognition, we are not only marking our 13 years of service but also reaffirming our promise to build a city where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
In addition, we are excited to announce that September 6, 2025, will now be declared as CITY EATS DAY in San Francisco! This day will be a celebration of our collective efforts and achievements, and we plan to share this special day every year to honor the spirit of community and service that defines us.

FIESTA EN LA CALLE BLOCK PARTY
We're shutting THE BLOCK DOWN!!! And having a Fiesta En La Calle!!!
Mark your calendars, JUNE 13TH!
@rightsoverborders @latinotaskforcesf @thecityeats & @doactsofkindness will be hosting a community braiding fundraiser where every braid helps give back. Proceeds will go toward supporting the San Francisco Latino Task Force's future Department of Justice Accreditation program. This program will create a pathway to those that want to support immigration lawyers in the affirmative care work, the process of supporting lawyers through the paperwork for clients, so that the lawyers can spend their time representing clients at their court hearings.
We're also hosting our Letter of Hope & Love workshop w/ @ellenperezradio! It's a chance to write uplifting messages and spread kindness and encouragement to families currentl in detention centers and to our farmworker community.
@slatinotaskforce along with other community partners will also be providing resources for families!
It's going to be a day filled with music, local DJs, games, family activities, and a Live Soccer Watch party!!

Soul Saving Production & The City Eats Feed
In a heartfelt effort to give back to Skid Row in Los Angeles, two incredible organizations, Soul Saving Production and The City Eats, are joining forces to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Together, they will provide essential services and support, including:
- Hot Meals: Nourishing those in need with warm, delicious meals.
- Feet Washing: A caring touch to promote comfort and hygiene.
- Massage Therapy: Offering relaxation and relief for weary bodies.
- Nail Care and Haircuts: Helping individuals feel refreshed and confident.
- Hair Braiding: A creative and personal way to uplift spirits.
- Clothing Donations: Providing warm and suitable attire.
- Groceries: Supplying basic necessities for daily living.
- Prayer and Support: Offering spiritual encouragement and community connection.
This collaborative initiative aims to not only meet immediate needs but also to uplift and restore dignity to those who are often overlooked. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our neighbors in Skid Row.

The City Eats is excited to be one of the official Partners for the 3rd Annual @projectpearls Toy drive 🧸 on Saturday, October 9th from 11am-4pm at @theshopsattanforan parking lot.
There will be vendors, fun activities, raffles and more!!!
Project PEARLS hosts these toy drives in October to make sure these toys arrive just in time for the holidays to the children living in the poorest conditions in the Philippines 🇵🇭.
