Run for a cause

“Doing well and doing good is part of the unchanging core and future vision of New Balance. Through grants, global volunteerism, cooperative marketing, sponsorships, in-kind donations and more, New Balance and the New Balance Foundation aim to improve the health and well-being of children and families worldwide.

New Balance and NB Gives Back has made active strides in our Local & Global Communities, to impact change and to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

We, at The City Eats, are so honored to receive a $5,000 Non-profit Grant, to aid us in continuing our Mission, to feed the Homeless & the Less-fortunate. We are grateful for the continued support of the New Balance Global Flagship Store in San Francisco, and the Management Team: Hanalei Van Meter & Gerald Kirwan. We appreciate you both and your Team for your hearts to Serve the Homeless! ️

On Wednesday, 5/23/18, our Non-profit partnered with the San Francisco Flagship Store, for a Benefit Run, Homeless Feed, a meet & greet and complimentary foot-scanning consultations.

It was a wonderful event, with so many enthusiastic community members, who are invested in giving back to the Community, and being a part of the solution to our Bay Area Homeless Crisis.

Thank you to our Benefit Run Captains: Damien Posey, Bianca Kunnuji, and Erika Winbush for leading our Run. Our Benefit Run went well and was a fun 2.2 mile route to the SF Ferry Building & The Embarcadero!
